I had heard that La Fuente had great margaritas. Of course I'm going to get one as soon as I sit down!
The margarita was great. I had a medium sized one and picked up a small buzz from drinking just one! It didn't taste like margarita mix or have an overwhelming tequila flavor. My mom and grandma approved of it also.
I'm picky so all I got to eat was a cheese quesadilla and rice. My mom and grandma got burritos and tacos, etc. I think they ordered from the combo meal.
Our server was tentative until after we got our food and he kind of disappeared. I was brought out the wrong dish but it still looked good and I gladly would have eaten it. When my waiter found out he misheard my order he rushed over and apologized.
All in all, the food was great. Sure, not your authentic mexican food but I still greatly enjoyed it!
The chips were hot, the salsa was tasty and don't get me started on the marg.
We ended up having to walk to the counter and pay because we got tired of waiting. The lady who helped us was very sweet and friendly!
I will be back for happy hour :) -

The salsa is fresh and tasty, free chips and salsa with purchase of an entree. My boyfriend got the huevos rancheros they came with rice, beans and fresh flour tortillas. It was really good and fresh. They have Coke Zero wish is always a plus in my book. I got the Pico La Fuente, it comes with freshly grilled shrimp, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños and fresh avocado. I ended up eating it with the fresh tortillas that came with my boyfriends food. It was really good and filling for lunch. They have happy hour specials on pitchers of beer and margaritas. We will Definitely be back!

Burrito la Fuente is the best! Get the hot sauce on the side if you don't tolerate spicy food well. The fajitas are great and it's the best queso we've found since our beloved El Maguey closed.
Okay - now for the service. It is truly hit and miss. We've had good experiences and then there have been times where we had empty beverages for a ridiculously long time while we were eating. We often joke that we're willing to roll the dice and be ignored because the food is THAT good - but this is definitely an area with room for improvement. -

We just ate at La Fuente worst food and service we've ever had Our waiter was mean. Slammed my plastic water cup so hard on the table the couple across from us even made a face. . Dont go there. The couple in front of us dined and dashed. After trying to pay. Haha

We have gone here for years but the last year it seems the quality has gone significantly downhill while the prices go up. Price does not reflect quality of food at this location. Kids meal did not include the drink like most Mexican restaurants yet the meal is the same price as others. We spent 50 dollars for the 4 of us for very mediocre food where we may go to another and spend between 5 a d 10 dollars less for comparible, much better tasting food.
My wife ordered a chicken dish and it was so overcooked that she could hardly cut it with a knife. My kids ordered cheeseburgers and the burgers were extremely overdone and dry. Typically I would not review something negatively for this sort of thing if not consistent. In this case, this has happened multiple times and when we let the restaurant know, they brush it off with a glancing apology and then do nothing to make it better. I would expect at least a kids meal be comped. I have been to competing restaurants where the manager has come over, apologized and comped the whole meal just for one small burger being overcooked. Not the case here. I can also go to a competing restaurant, get better food, get more such as chips salsa and queso and still pay slightly less.
La Fuente used to strike me as an authentic Mexican restaurant but their completely americanized competitor blows them away in every aspect. They need to step it back up if they want to stay in business in a competitive market where more restaurants are popping up in the area. My family will not be going back to La Fuente. We will drive a few min further for better Mexican food and better experience as a whole.
